Lions Clubs International is a non profit organization with approximately 48,000 clubs and nearly 1.5 million members in over 110 countries worldwide. The goal of Lions is "We Serve": We want to help make the world a better place, alleviate misfortune and support human beings, animals and nature. All Lions members may experience that they have friends all over the world and that they help and connect even outside their clubs. Alpine Lions therefore prove that neighbouring Lions Clubs, spread over the area of the European Alps, achieve more by working together. The website www.alpine-lions.org publishes the common work and invites to cooperation.
